High School Prospects

Standards

High School athletes must be able to achieve the performances below to compete as a World Athletica TC member:
Up to Age 15
Ages 16-18

World Athletica provides resources throughout the year to help athletes develop. If you have not obtained the World Athletica TC qualification standards above please consider participating in one or more of our training programs and join our email list to be notified of our performance clinics.

Professional Coaching

World Athletica TC coaches have advance degrees and certifications in biomechanics and applied physiology. Their training approach and methods are grounded in science and anecdotal experience. In addition to being experienced professionals, World Athletica TC coaches have competed at collegiate and international levels themselves.

Term

World Athletica TC membership consists of an annual term, October through September of the following calendar year.

Commitment

World Athletica TC high school members are asked train four-to-five days each week for ten-to-eleven months during the term and are required to rest or have an active recovery workout at least one day per week to safely optimize the intensity of training and recovery.

World Athletica TC high school members can’t miss three practices within one five-month time period during the World Athletica TC term or they lose their World Athletica TC membership.

Exclusive Training

World Athletica TC high school members are not allowed to practice with any other club or sports teams during the World Athletica TC term.

World Athletica TC high school members are allowed to compete for other sports teams during the World Athletica TC term only with advance approval from their World Athletica TC coach.

World Athletica TC high school members are required to obtain advance approval from their World Athletica TC coach before participating in any activities that create slight-to-moderate physical stress.

Schedule

World Athletica TC training sessions for high school members are approximately 60-90 minutes four-five days per week starting at either 3:45pm or 5pm during the week and Saturday mornings. The training sessions occur at facilities in North Bethesda, Maryland.

Fees for High School Students

World Athletica TC fees for high school members are $5,200 for the annual term. Payment can be made at one time or in 10 monthly installments of $440 after the $800 initiation fee.

  • Professional coaching
  • Personalized stability & strength training (valued at $680/month)
  • Access to gym and indoor training facilities
  • Mobile training application and athlete journal license
  • Access to World Athletic clinics and webinars (including sports nutrition)
  • USATF membership
  • Track meet registration fees
  • World Athletica TC uniform
